To implement the TAFE Virtual Campus as the focus for mainstreaming flexible delivery and teaching & learning innovation through managing:
- free access to the TAFE VC for public, private and community providers;
- the provision of online programs and learning support resources;
- an online communication and support environment for teachers and support staff
- online access to TAFE libraries and other student services
- effective online business and marketing strategies including an online enrolment facility
- TAFE VC as the key gateway/portal to Victorian online TAFE and ACE information and transaction services.
To develop and coordinate Victoria’s role and responsibilities as a leading member of the Australian ICT in Education Committee (AICTEC) and the Flexible Learning Advisory Group (FLAG).
